Small Cell Forum Champions: Commercializing the mobile edge
At Champions Day in Rome September 2015, Small Cell Forum announced the six new work items that our carrier members have identified as critical to commercialize the mobile edge. These are: License-Exempt Spectrum, Virtualization, HetNet & SON, Multi-Operator, Enterprise and 5G, IoT & M2M.
In this report, we detail the approach to each work stream incorporating market demand, commercial drivers, operational & regulatory aspects in addition to enabling technologies.
